MATERIALS & FINISHES
Start with where the label will be used.
Indoor panels, workshop equipment and exposed coastal installations have different requirements. Tell us about sunlight, moisture, salt exposure, cleaning products and how the plate or tag will be fixed.
- Stainless steel: ask about 304 or 316L options for identification plates, tags and signs. The grade, finish and marking method are confirmed for the application.
- Aluminium: suitable anodised or coated products can provide clear contrast for lightweight tags and information plates.
- Engraving laminate: two-colour labels for switchboards, control panels, doors and equipment. Indoor or outdoor suitability depends on the specific product.
- Brass: an option for nameplates, presentation plaques and selected commercial signs where a traditional metal finish is preferred.
The finished appearance depends on the material and surface. We confirm the expected result rather than assume every metal will produce the same colour or contrast.
